How to Vote
To vote in the Saint Paul City Council Election, Minnesota residents must register by October 14, 2025, either online, by mail, or in person. Voters can cast ballots early in person from September 20 to November 3, 2025, or on Election Day at their assigned polling place; acceptable ID includes a Minnesota driver’s license, state ID, or tribal ID, or a utility bill with current address if ID is not available.

Biography
Amy Brendmoen is a longtime resident of Saint Paul’s East Side and has served on the City Council since 2012, representing Ward 5. She is running for re-election to continue her work on housing affordability, small business support, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
Dai Thao is a community organizer and small business owner who has represented Ward 1 on the Saint Paul City Council since 2014. He is seeking re-election to advance equity in economic development, improve public safety through community policing, and expand access to quality education and healthcare.
